Google Workspace Support
for Agencies
If your agency runs on Gmail, Drive, Docs and Meet, your IT support should understand Google Workspace as well as your team does.
- Day-to-Day Management
- Security, Compliance and Backups
- Workspace Migrations

What Does Cubit Technology Do?
Cubit Technology helps London agencies design, secure and manage Google Workspace so staff can get on with client work while we look after:
Day-to-day support and troubleshooting
User onboarding and leaver processes
Security, compliance and backups
Migrations to or from Google Workspace
Training and setup for hybrid work
We already support agencies that use Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and tools like Dropbox Business in combination and in isolation.
Why agencies choose Cubit for Google Workspace
For operations, leadership and finance, the questions are usually less about “Docs vs Word” and more about:
Are we sharing client files safely?
Are leavers fully offboarded from Gmail and Drive?
Are we backing up Workspace in case of deletion or ransomware?
Are freelancers and partners set up in a sensible way?
Who is actually responsible for all of this?
Agency-focused, platform-agnostic and human-first service
That is where a managed IT partner helps. Our role is to take responsibility for the whole setup – not just answer tickets when something breaks
How we help with Google Workspace
Google Workspace Management with Cubit
- Admin console configuration and ongoing housekeeping
- New user setup, license assignment and group membership
- Leaver offboarding processes that remove access, preserve mail and files, and keep clients supported
- Shared drives and folder structures that match how your teams actually work
- Helpdesk support when staff have troube with Gmail, Meet, Drive, Calendar, etc.
Security, Compliance & Backups with Cubit
Client trust is central for agencies, especially when pitches, NDAs and campaign assets sit in Drive. We help you:
- Set and enforce sensible password, MFA and SSO policies
- Control sharing outside the agency and between brands or business units
- Align Workspace with Cyber Essentials and other security expectations from larger clients.
- Implement SaaS backup for Google Workspace (e.g. Datto SaaS Protection) so accidental deletions or ransomware do not become data-loss incidents
How does Cubit support hybrid and remote teams?
- Reliable access for staff in the office, at home, on set or on client site
- Sensible device management for agency-owned and BYOD laptops
- Support for Meet, Calendar and conference room setups so meetings “just work”
- Guidance on new AI features like Gemini, Google Meet’s note-taking and AI summarisation, so they are used safely, not blindly
How does Cubit handle migrations to and from Google Workspace?
Whether you are:
- Moving from on-prem email to Google Workspace
- Switching from Microsoft 365 to Google, or
- Running both while a group of agencies standardise
We plan and run migrations so:
- Email flow is preserved
- Mail and file history are carried across
- Changes happen outside core client hours wherever possible
- Staff have someone to turn to on “day one” in the new system
Our team has delivered similar projects for London agencies moving into cloud email and collaboration platforms.
How our Google Workspace support is priced
We generally charge a flat monthly fee based on the number of computers in your organisation. All day-to-day support and advisory work relating to your IT environment, including Google Workspace, sits inside that fee. One-off projects like migrations or large rollouts are quoted separately.
(This keeps costs predictable and makes it clear who is responsible for keeping Workspace running well.)
Are we right for you?
This service is usually a good fit if:
- You are a creative agency with 10-100 people
- Google Workspace is your main platform, or you want to move to/away from it
- You want one partner to look after IT, not just “help with email”
- You are responsible for operations, finance or leadership and need confidence, not just tools
If this sounds familiar, we are likely to be a good match.

FAQs
1. Do we still need an IT provider if our agency already uses Google Workspace?
Yes. Google provides the platform; it does not design your folder structure, set your security policies, manage leavers, train staff or connect Workspace to the rest of your IT. Agencies still need someone to take overall responsibility for how Workspace is set up, secured, backed up and supported day-to-day.
3. Can you support a mixed environment with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365?
Yes. Many agencies use Google Workspace for email and collaboration alongside Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud or other platforms. We are vendor-agnostic and support both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, plus Macs and PCs, so you are not locked into one ecosystem.
5. How do you keep Google Workspace secure for client data and RFPs?
We apply a combination of configuration and process. This covers MFA and SSO, sensible password policies, restricted sharing, data loss prevention, device management and regular reviews against frameworks like Cyber Essentials. For higher-risk accounts we can layer on additional email filtering, archiving and backup tools.
7. Can you support freelancers and external partners in our Google Workspace domain?
Yes. Agencies often work with a mix of permanent staff, contractors and partner agencies. We help you decide when to use full accounts, when to use external sharing, and when to isolate access behind shared drives, groups or temporary accounts so external users can contribute without exposing more data than necessary.
9. Do you provide training on lesser-known Google Workspace tools?
Yes. Many teams only use Gmail, Docs and Drive but miss tools like Keep, AppSheet, Sites and Forms that can reduce admin and improve visibility across projects. We run short, role-specific sessions to introduce these tools in the context of your existing processes rather than as “extra apps to learn”.
2. What does an IT MSP actually manage inside Google Workspace?
An MSP like Cubit looks after the admin console, user lifecycle (joiners, movers, leavers), security settings, sharing rules, backups, device links, and integrations with other tools. We also handle troubleshooting for staff, review audit logs where needed and advise on when to switch on or off new features so they support your ways of working.
4. Can you migrate our agency to Google Workspace from Microsoft 365 or on-prem email?
We can plan and deliver migrations in either direction. For a move to Google Workspace we map out your mailboxes, calendars and shared data, design any coexistence period, run phased migrations out of hours where possible, and provide on-the-day support so staff can carry on working. Similar principles apply if you later decide to move back towards Microsoft 365.
6. How do you handle backups for Google Workspace?
While Google has built-in resilience, it does not protect you from every scenario, such as long-delayed deletions or account-level compromise. We typically recommend an independent backup product like Datto SaaS Protection to take regular copies of Gmail, Drive and other Workspace data so content can be restored at user or item level if something goes wrong.
8. How much does Google Workspace support cost for a London agency?
Costs depend on headcount, complexity and any additional tools such as backup, security products or connectivity services. Most of our agency clients pay a fixed monthly fee based on the number of computers, with projects like migrations scoped and quoted separately. We can give a clear estimate once we know your current setup and plans.
10. We are happy with Google Workspace now. When should we speak to you?
If things feel under control, that is usually a good time. A short review can confirm that your security, backups and admin processes match where your agency is today and where it is heading. It is much easier to adjust a healthy setup than to fix gaps after a breach, data loss incident or failed migration.
